ME Campaign 2 - Turn 4 - Daemons vs Dark elves

Deployment - Daemons
Daemonic left flank consists of mostly fast Slaanesh stuff; Seekers, a herald on a Disc, a Keeper of secrets, six flamers, three Fiends...

More Slaanesh stuff... A horde and a smaller block of daemonettes with some Flamers in between, another herald on Disc...

A horde of Bloodletters, more flamers and lastly a small unit of flesh hounds on the far right flank. There! Lots of daemons.

Deployment - Dark elves
From the left: Repeater crossbowmen, Reaper bolt thrower, war hydra, 10 dark riders, a lord on a drägon, reaper bolt thrower, war hydra...

...big spearmen unit led by the world's worst boss: a sorceress with a sacrificial dagger. Then there is a horde of witch elves, a hero on a dark pegasus, a reaper bolt thrower, and on the hill...

...the Black guard, two reaper bolt throwers, cold one knights led by a lord I think. On the far left flank there are repeater crossbowmen and dark riders. There! Lots of elves.

Turn 1
The daemons get the first turn and the herald of Tzeentch surfs ahead to cast some serious Purple sun on the dragon. It fails and the herald is dead meat.

The other herald rather hides behind the wood. Not that that will save him. The rest of the daemonic army march across the field, happily singing Dark funeral songs.

The suicide Tzeentch guy gets munched up by one of the hydras and the dragon charges some Fiends of Slaanesh on the hill.

The elven infantry in the center is mostly just hanging around, shooting an arrow or two. Or a hundred.

Turn 2
The dragon has killed the Fiends on the hill and lands to unleash some bad breath on the Daemonettes. Meanwhile the Dark riders shoot the Flamers, who is shooting the hydra who is dying. Epic.

On the dark elven left flank, the cold one knights move up to greet the flesh hounds while the blood letters advance towards the black guard (who is standing just outside of the left corner of this picture).

Turn 3
The Keeper of secrets hides behind the daemonettes, who turn to chase away the dragon, who turns to munch some flamers, who probably are shooting at the aforementioned dragon, who doesn't want to frontally attack the daemonettes, who turned to chase it away. The remaining hydra is looking around for something to stomp.

Flesh hounds charge the cold one knights which turns out to be a mistake.

This leaves the bloodletters in a tough position. Black guard to the front and cold ones in the flank is not a place you want to be in. They decide to engage in a staring contest instead.

Sadly this is the last picture we took. I don't know if the daemons gave up at this point or if they just got butchered in the end but the game ended in a massacre win for the dark elves regardless. Ta!
