ME campaign - The anticlimactic and pictureless conclusion

So... the last three battles in this campaign were fought unaccompanied by a camera. So there will be no battle reports, just a quick wrap-up.

Turn 9 - Dark elves vs Daemons

The daemons attack the dark elves in a last attempt to grab some land before it is too late. The ensuing 3000 pts battle was barely won by the dark elves, though, and at this point the campaign was pretty much settled.

Turn 10 - Dwarfs vs Empire

The dwarfs go All or nothing and try to grab some land from the Empire. The Empire sadly gets a solid win, ands it looks like the dwarfs will end up jumbo.

Turn 10 - Daemons vs Dark elves

Infuriated by the fact that they haven't won a single battle against the dark elves, the daemons throw everything they have at one of the elven border cities. Long story short, it turns out to be a solid victory for the daemons. Too bad it happened when it was already too late to turn the tide in the campaign,

So, Dark elves win rather reassuringly, Daemons end up having the second largest empire, the Empire gets third place while the Dwarfs are the smallest.

All in all, a pretty neat campaign except that it was really already over in the end of turn 9. We will soon start a new one, with more races and perhaps some more balancing house rules.
